tradThis forum is a serious, civil and independent place to talk, dedicated to trading and everything around it.
These rules exist for one reason: to protect the quality of the conversation, so that every member, beginner or experienced, can learn and improve in the best conditions.
👋 Rule 1: Introduce yourself before posting
New here? Before your first post, we ask you to introduce yourself to the community. One message in Introductions is enough: who you are, what you trade, and for how long.
It breaks the ice, it creates a connection, and it lets others answer you usefully: advice that fits an index scalper does not fit someone who holds positions for three weeks.
📌 Rule 2: Stay on topic
This community is about trading and what surrounds it: method, risk management, psychology, markets, brokers, prop firms, tax and tools.
Off-topic threads, in particular politics, religion and ideology, will be removed.
🤝 Rule 3: Be respectful, including when you disagree
You can criticise an idea, a method, a trade. Never a person.
Insults, personal attacks, mockery, condescension and harassment have no place here. When a member shares a losing trade, their figures or a struggle, that is an act of trust: treat it as one. Serious breaches lead to an immediate suspension, repeat offences to a permanent ban.
🔍 Rule 4: Check before you post
Do not relay unverified information, rumours or incomplete analysis. Source your claims. Posts containing misleading information or clearly incorrect advice may be removed.
Give context when you ask: your instrument, your horizon, your position size, what you already tried. "It does not work" invites no useful answer.
An important reminder: what is said here is not personalised investment advice. Your decisions are your own.
📊 Rule 5: No figure without what comes with it
A result is shown with its period, the risk taken and the capital involved. Without those three, a gain means nothing.
A raw figure out of context discourages more than it helps: it suggests you are the only one struggling, when in fact two different things are being compared.
🗂️ Rule 6: Use the right spaces
Before starting a topic, check it does not exist already: another member has probably had the same question. Duplicates will be closed, merged or removed.
Post in the right section, it helps everyone find useful discussions later. A question about one specific trade goes in Trade questions, a question about the app in Product support, and a trader-to-trader question in Community help.
🚫 Rule 7: No spam, no promotion
The following are not allowed:
- referral codes, in topics, replies and private messages alike
- promoting your site, blog, service or company
- affiliate links and disguised advertising
- signals, paid groups and account management offers
- repetitive posts, or posts with no value for the community
Naming a broker or a tool you actually use is welcome; selling it is not.
⚖️ Rule 8: Respect the law
Any content encouraging illegal activity, in particular tax fraud, money laundering or managing someone else's account without authorisation, will be removed and its author banned.
🚩 Rule 9: Report, do not reply
If you see problematic content: report it, do not feed it. Replying to bad behaviour gives it visibility and drains everyone's energy.
Your reports let us act quickly. And if a moderation decision feels unfair, write to us in Product support rather than arguing it in the thread.
🛡️ Sanctions
Our team reserves the right to remove any content or account that does not follow these rules. Sanctions apply gradually: a warning, then a temporary restriction, then a permanent ban.
Some serious breaches, such as harassment, illegal content or mass spam, lead to an immediate ban without prior warning.
Trading carries a risk of losing capital. What is said here is an exchange between peers, never personalised investment advice.
