Hi, I'm Benjamin (France). I trade forex and indices, supply and demand, and have done for about ten years.

The habit I'm trying to break, and I break it badly: taking another trade right after a loss. Not to win it back, it's sneakier than that. I tell myself the setup is valid. It rarely is.

That is where Tradoshi came from. I kept my journal in a spreadsheet, I only filled it in after the good days, and my statistics therefore described somebody else's trading.

This corner of the forum is for one thing: saying where you start from. Introduce yourself, three lines are enough. Where you trade from, what you trade, and the habit you are trying to break right now. It's the third one that starts conversations, everyone has one.

I reply.

Trading involves a risk of loss, up to the entire capital committed. Tradoshi is a journaling and analytics tool: we provide no financial advice and guarantee no result. Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor: an investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment, and only risk capital should be used for trading. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations: they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight, involve no financial risk, and no representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve similar results. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Full risk disclosure.
