1. What MyTradingJourney and Tradoshi each offer, plan by plan

Every MyTradingJourney plan and every one of ours, with what each actually unlocks. Prices are those shown on both pricing pages on 10 September 2026.

Every price on this page is in dollars, on both sides, and no exchange rate is applied. Their prices are shown as a “Limited time” discount, struck through at $35 and $45 a month yearly, $40 and $65 month to month. Their pricing page contradicts itself: the comparison table lower down announces other figures, including $18 a month and $150 a year. We use the price cards, and their page prevails over this one. No free plan or trial is published there; a refund is possible within 7 days of the first payment.

It all comes down to one row, backtesting. On their side it is in the first plan, at $240 a year; on ours it starts at Pro, at $399 a year. If that is what you came for, they are cheaper, and that should be said. If you came for a journal it is the reverse: ours is free, synced with one broker account, and Essential at $199 a year adds three accounts, the AI coach and the voice check-in.

2. The partner offer, in months of revenue

MyTradingJourney publishes no affiliate program: /affiliate, /partners and /referral return 404 as of 10 September 2026, and none of the pages read mention one. A creator who wants to recommend them cannot know what they would earn.

Our schedule is public and pays from the first customer: 15% for life on every payment collected, 20% from fifteen active subscribers, 25% from fifty-one.

Comparing two percentages means nothing while the durations differ. The honest unit is months of the referred customer's revenue: it neutralises both the product price and the commission duration. Read it as: for a customer who stays N months, the partner has earned the equivalent of X months of that customer's revenue.

The table only holds our rows, and that is not an oversight: you do not compute what a competitor does not publish. If MyTradingJourney publishes a schedule, this page will be updated with the survey date.

On our side, the commission lands on every payment collected for as long as the customer stays subscribed, with a 30-day holding period and a €500 payout threshold.

3. Mentoring, and who pays for whom

It is one of the few competitors whose mentoring is included from the first paid plan: both their cards announce an “unlimited mentor mode”. It works both ways, the student invites their mentor, or the educator invites as many students as they like. Their page does not say whether the mentor must subscribe too.

At Tradoshi, the mentor account is free, in black and white. The student is the subscriber, from the Pro plan up, and invites their mentor, who pays nothing to follow their trades and progress.

The gap deserves honesty. For the student, they are cheaper: mentoring comes with their Basic at $240 a year, where our Pro at $399 a year is needed. For the mentor, we are the only one of the two to publish that they pay nothing, whatever the number of students. A school supervising thirty students therefore has a written answer with us, and a question to ask them.

Every line comes from both public pricing pages, read on the same day. Nothing is pulled from a help centre on one side and a grid on the other: on unequal evidence, a comparison stops being honest. “Absent from the grid” means exactly that, not “does not exist”.

5. What we concede to MyTradingJourney

A comparison won on every single line is not a comparison, it is an advert. Here are the points where MyTradingJourney is ahead, with nothing taken off.

The verdict

MyTradingJourney and Tradoshi look more alike than most pairs in this series: two synced journals, two backtesting engines, two mentor modes. Their bet is tooling: test a lot, on many pairs, and copy your trades from one account to another, all from $240 a year. Ours is behaviour: knowing what state you walk into a session in, scoring your discipline, and holding you back during the session when your rules give way. If your problem is finding a strategy, their backtesting is more accessible and costs less. If you already have one and do not stick to it, this is where that gets worked on, and it starts for free.
