Every price on this page is in dollars, on both sides, and no exchange rate is applied.

Let us say it plainly: at $9 a month, UltraTrader is unbeatable on price, and their free plan asks for no card. Our answer is not to match the price, that would be losing and dishonest. It is elsewhere: what we sell ten dollars more is not more journal features, it is what acts before you click, and a mentor who can follow you without paying.

2. The partner offer, in months of revenue

UltraTrader has an affiliate program, mentioned on its site, but its terms are not published: no rate, no duration, no payout threshold. Worth noting, they already run broker partnerships: at TradeLocker their link carries a discount code.

Our schedule is public and pays from the first customer: 15% for life on every payment collected, 20% at fifteen active subscribers, 25% at fifty-one.

Comparing two percentages means nothing while the durations differ. The honest unit is months of the referred customer's revenue: it neutralises both the product price and the commission duration. Read it as: for a customer who stays N months, the partner has earned the equivalent of X months of that customer's revenue.

ProgramStays 6 monthsStays 12 monthsStays 24 monthsStays 36 months
Tradoshi 15% (from the 1st customer)0.901.803.605.40
Tradoshi 20% (15 customers and up)1.202.404.807.20
Tradoshi 25% (51 customers and up)1.503.006.009.00

The table only holds our rows, for lack of a published competing schedule. It reads in months of the referred customer's revenue.

An honest nuance for a partner: with a $9 subscription, any percentage applies to a much smaller base. At an equal rate, recommending a $29.99 subscription pays three times more.

On our side, the commission lands on every payment collected, with a 30-day holding period and a €500 payout threshold.

3. Mentoring, and who pays for whom

Mentoring appears nowhere on UltraTrader's grid: no dedicated row, no student invitation, no shared space. The product is built for a solo trader facing their statistics.

At Tradoshi, the mentor account is free. The student is the subscriber, from the Pro plan up, and invites their mentor, who pays nothing to follow their trades and progress.

For a trader working alone this line is worth nothing, and that should be said. For a school or an educator it decides everything: following thirty students costs nothing extra, where elsewhere it would take one subscription per supervisor.

4. The full comparison, feature by feature

Every line comes from both public pricing pages, read on the same day. Nothing is pulled from a help centre on one side and a grid on the other: on unequal evidence, a comparison stops being honest. “Absent from the grid” means exactly that, not “does not exist”.

Price and mobile

Their turf, and there is no debate. Four years of continuous presence on the app stores is an asset you do not catch up in a quarter.

5. What we concede to UltraTrader

A comparison won on every single line is not a comparison, it is an advert. Here are the points where UltraTrader is ahead, with nothing taken off.

They are half our price$9 a month against $19.99 at entry. On price alone the answer is them, and there is no angle around it.
Unlimited accounts from their paid tierNine dollars for unlimited accounts, where we give three on Essential and fifty on Pro. Our free plan, on the other hand, includes one synced broker account.

The verdict

A journal that records costs less than a journal that stops you. That is the whole difference, and we own it. UltraTrader is unbeatable if price alone decides: $9 a month and four years on the stores, nobody does better on that ground. The useful question is elsewhere. What do you want from your journal? Theirs records and displays, very well, for next to nothing. Ours tries to step in before you click, with a voice check-in that captures your state, a score that measures whether you stick to your rules, in-session alerts, and a mentor who can see everything without paying. It is not the same spend because it is not the same job.

Frequently asked questions

Which one is cheaper?

UltraTrader, by a wide margin. Their paid plan is $9 a month against our $19.99 at entry. We also have a free plan with no card since 3 August 2026, but their paid tier remains half the price of ours.

Does UltraTrader have a mobile app?

Yes, on iOS and Android, published since September 2022, with more than 66,000 Android downloads. It is the mobile pioneer in the category. Ours is being published, so on that point the advantage is theirs.

How many brokers does UltraTrader support?

They publish no figure and no list on their pricing page. Tradoshi announces more than 2,000 brokers and publishes the list of 2,024, name by name, with a proof PDF and each connection mode, 98 of them on a direct API.

What does Tradoshi do that UltraTrader does not?

Five things absent from their grid as of 2 August 2026: the voice check-in, the discipline score, in-session guardrails, prop firm and challenge rule tracking, and the free mentor account.

What does UltraTrader do better than Tradoshi?

Four things. Half the price. A mobile app published since 2022 with 66,000 downloads. Unlimited accounts from the first paid tier. And broker partnerships already running.

Method and sources. Every figure attributed to UltraTrader was read on 2 August 2026 on its own public pages, in the served HTML, and not taken from a third-party comparison: ultratrader.app/pricing. The “absent from the grid” statements were obtained by counting term occurrences in the served page, not by eye. The months-of-revenue values are computed from the published schedules on both sides, month by month, not typed by hand. A publisher's pricing changes without notice, and this one raised all three of its plans overnight on 16 July 2026: when in doubt, the publisher's own page prevails over this one.
