Comparison

Tradoshi vs TradingView

Let us say it before anything else: TradingView is not a trading journal, and Tradoshi is not a charting platform. The word “journal” does not appear once on their pricing page, verified by counting on 2 August 2026. This page exists because the question comes up constantly, and the honest answer is that most serious traders use both.

TradingView is foranalysing the market before you enter: charts, indicators, price alerts, bar replay, strategy testing in Pine Script. It is the world reference and nothing replaces it.
Tradoshi is forunderstanding what you did and why: your broker syncs, your trades are measured, your emotional state is captured, and your rules are checked against your actions.
The right answerboth. They are not competitors, and pretending otherwise would fool nobody who has opened both.

Every price on this page is in dollars, on both sides, and no exchange rate is applied. TradingView prices were read from the structured data of their pricing page on 2 August 2026; they vary by billing period and region, so their page prevails over this one.

Comparing prices makes little sense here, since the two products do different jobs. What matters: TradingView does not keep your trade history, does not compute your profit factor, does not know what state you were in, and does not claim to. And we will never replace its charts.

2. The partner offer, in months of revenue

TradingView has an affiliate program, but it covers a product that is not a trading journal: recommending one does not rule out the other, and a creator can earn both commissions.

Our schedule is public and pays from the first customer: 15% for life, 20% at fifteen active subscribers, 25% at fifty-one, on every payment collected.

Comparing two percentages means nothing while the durations differ. The honest unit is months of the referred customer's revenue: it neutralises both the product price and the commission duration. Read it as: for a customer who stays N months, the partner has earned the equivalent of X months of that customer's revenue.

ProgramStays 6 monthsStays 12 monthsStays 24 monthsStays 36 months
Tradoshi 15% (from the 1st customer)0.901.803.605.40
Tradoshi 20% (15 customers and up)1.202.404.807.20
Tradoshi 25% (51 customers and up)1.503.006.009.00

The table only holds our rows: the two programs cover products that are not comparable, and putting them side by side would teach nothing.

To be clear for a creator: these two recommendations do not compete. A TradingView subscriber is still a prospect for a journal, and the reverse holds too.

On our side, the commission lands on every payment collected, with a 30-day holding period and a €500 payout threshold.

3. Mentoring, and who pays for whom

Mentoring appears nowhere on TradingView's grid: no dedicated row, no student invitation, no shared space. The product is built for a solo trader facing their statistics.

At Tradoshi, the mentor account is free. The student is the subscriber, from the Pro plan up, and invites their mentor, who pays nothing to follow their trades and progress.

For a trader working alone this line is worth nothing, and that should be said. For a school or an educator it decides everything: following thirty students costs nothing extra, where elsewhere it would take one subscription per supervisor.

4. The full comparison, feature by feature

Every line comes from both public pricing pages, read on the same day. Nothing is pulled from a help centre on one side and a grid on the other: on unequal evidence, a comparison stops being honest. “Absent from the grid” means exactly that, not “does not exist”.

5. What we concede to TradingView

A comparison won on every single line is not a comparison, it is an advert. Here are the points where TradingView is ahead, with nothing taken off.

Nothing replaces their charts, and we do not tryTradingView is the reference analysis platform worldwide. We do not claim to play on that ground, and a journal claiming to replace TradingView would be lying.
Their free plan is genuinely usableMillions of traders never pay anything and work perfectly well with it. We have no free plan.
Bar replay and Pine ScriptTwo practice and testing tools we do not have, and that have no equivalent elsewhere.
Their entry price is lower$14.95 against our $19.99, for a product that is not the same.

The verdict

There is no winner, and a comparison page naming one would be dishonest. TradingView answers “what is the market doing?” and nobody does it better. Tradoshi answers “what am I doing?”: what are my losing streaks, at what hour do I lose, what state was I in, and do I stick to my rules. Those two questions have nothing to do with each other. The most common setup among traders who improve is simple: TradingView open to analyse, Tradoshi connected to the broker to measure.

Frequently asked questions

Can TradingView be used as a trading journal?

Not in the usual sense. The word “journal” does not appear once on their pricing page, verified by counting on 2 August 2026. You can take notes on a chart, but there is no broker sync, no measured trade history and no trader performance statistics.

Do you have to choose between them?

No, and that is the honest answer. They do different jobs: TradingView analyses the market before entry, Tradoshi measures what you did afterwards. Most serious traders use both.

Which one is cheaper?

TradingView at entry, $14.95 per month against our $19.99, and they have a genuinely usable free plan. But their plans go up to $119.95, and it is not the same product.

Does Tradoshi replace TradingView's charts?

No, and we do not try. Our chart is there to review a past trade on the real candles, not to analyse the market. For analysis, TradingView remains the reference.

What does Tradoshi do that TradingView does not?

Sync your broker and measure your trades, compute your risk per account and your prop firm rules, capture your emotional state before the session, score your discipline, and let a mentor follow you for free.

Compare with another trading journal

Try it, and compare on your own trades

Connect your broker, let your journal fill itself, and judge on your own numbers rather than on a table.

Method and sources. Every figure attributed to TradingView was read on 2 August 2026 on its own public pages, in the served HTML, and not taken from a third-party comparison: www.tradingview.com/pricing/. The “absent from the grid” statements were obtained by counting term occurrences in the served page, not by eye. The months-of-revenue values are computed from the published schedules on both sides, month by month, not typed by hand. A publisher's pricing changes without notice, and this one raised all three of its plans overnight on 16 July 2026: when in doubt, the publisher's own page prevails over this one.
