The newsroom

Who writes Tradoshi's news, where the information comes from, how it is checked and how an error is corrected.

Who writes

Tradoshi's news is written and published by the Tradoshi newsroom, part of the trading journal published by Tradoshi Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. It covers market regulation, central bank decisions, brokers and trading platforms, and what these facts change for retail traders. Every article is signed “The Tradoshi newsroom”.

Editions

The international edition covers facts that concern traders in every country. It is published in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese. Each language also has a national edition: France, Belgium and Switzerland in French, Spain in Spanish, Brazil in Portuguese, the United Kingdom and the United States in English. A national story is published only in the language of its country.

Where the information comes from

The newsroom follows institutional publications first: market regulators (AMF, FSMA, FINMA, ESMA, FCA, CySEC, BaFin, CNMV, CVM, SEC, CFTC), central banks (European Central Bank, Federal Reserve, Bank of England, Swiss National Bank, Bank of Japan, Central Bank of Brazil) and parliaments. Specialist media are used in support, for context and to make sure no story is missed.

How facts are checked

An official publication read in full is enough for what the institution itself establishes: a decision, a vote, a sanction, its own figures. The institution is then named in the sentence, and nothing is added to what its text says. Any other fact is confirmed by at least two sources. When sources contradict each other, the article says so. The sources consulted are listed at the end of each article.

The section “What it means for traders” is analysis: it is written in the conditional and introduces no new fact.

No investment advice

The news informs. It contains no investment advice, no recommendation to buy or sell, and no trading signal.

Corrections

An error that is reported and confirmed is corrected in the article. A dated notice at the top of the article states what was corrected, and the update date changes. A correction does not disappear: it stays on the page.
