Connect Kraken with an API key

Kraken connects to Tradoshi through a read-only API key: you generate it in your Kraken account (with no trading or withdrawal rights), paste it into Tradoshi, and your trades sync on their own. Statement import stays available as a backup.

1. In Kraken, create a read-only API key (no order or withdrawal rights).
   Where to click on Kraken

   1. Profile icon at the top right, then Settings
   2. API tab, then Create API key

   🔑 Tick Query Open Orders & Trades and Query Closed Orders & Trades. Do not tick Modify Orders or Cancel/Close Orders.

2. In Tradoshi: Import / Connect → + Add an account → Kraken.
3. Paste your API key and sync.

No. The API key you create is read-only, with no order or withdrawal rights: Tradoshi reads your trades, it can execute nothing.

Is my Kraken data safe?
Yes, and you hand us no password: only an API key with no order or withdrawal rights, encrypted, which never leaves our database. You can delete it at your exchange whenever you want.
