AvaTrade unveils its own multi-asset platform with AI-driven signals
AvaTrade officially announced on 3 November 2026 the launch of a trading platform developed in-house, covering several asset classes on web and mobile. The tool highlights AI-based analysis, but many practical details, from the jurisdictions involved to trading conditions, have not been disclosed.

On 3 November 2026, broker AvaTrade officially announced the launch of a new proprietary trading platform, meaning one developed in-house. The press release, distributed by Business Wire, is timestamped 10:00, most likely Paris time, as the time zone was not specified. According to the release and to reports by Finance Magnates and FX News Group, the tool is multi-asset, runs on web and mobile, and includes AI-assisted fundamental and technical analysis.
One environment for several asset classes
The release lists forex, stocks, commodities and indices, all grouped in a single environment. The list is introduced as non-exhaustive and does not mention cryptocurrencies, so whether they are available on the platform has not been specified.
The platform works in a browser and as a mobile app, with continuity between the two: a session started on one can be picked up on the other. Open positions and pending orders are shown together on the main screen, where balance, equity and margin level are explained in plain terms.
AvaTrade says it is targeting both beginners and experienced traders, with a deliberately simple interface and more advanced tools available when needed.
AI signals and a modular workspace
The headline feature is an AI module for fundamental and technical analysis that surfaces trading signals and market insights. It comes with advanced charting tools, including technical indicators and several chart types.
The workspace can be customised: drag-and-drop widgets, removable elements, and resizable windows and charts. Market monitoring sits in one place, with alerts, news, heatmaps and watchlists. Price alerts are managed from a dedicated window.
According to Daire Ferguson, chief executive of AvaTrade, the platform was built on more than 20 years of observing client behaviour and billions of transactions. He explains the choice of in-house development by the ability to adjust the tool to client requests. “This marks a real step forward, and it is one we will keep building on,” he said. The launch is backed by a slogan presenting the platform as built by AvaTrade and designed for its users.
Proprietary platform, not prop trading
The headline of the FX News Group article refers to a “prop trading platform”. Here, the phrase is shorthand for “proprietary trading platform”, in other words a platform owned and built by the broker. Neither the press release nor Finance Magnates mentions funded accounts, evaluation challenges or profit splits. The announcement concerns trading software, not an offer comparable to those of prop firms.
Several points have not been disclosed: the platform's commercial name, which group entities and jurisdictions offer it, and whether it is open to all clients right away. It has also not been specified whether the tool was already accessible before the official announcement on 3 November. The announcements say nothing about fees, spreads, leverage, the future of the platforms the broker already offers, or any account migration.
A launch following the FXCM deal
The announcement comes a few weeks after AvaTrade disclosed, on 15 October 2026 in Dublin, an agreement to acquire the majority of the business of FXCM along with the rights to its brand. The 3 November announcements do not state whether the new platform is meant to be offered to FXCM clients at some point.
What it means for traders
For AvaTrade clients, the platform would be an additional option alongside third-party software such as MetaTrader 5. The announcements mention neither the withdrawal of existing tools nor a mandatory migration. Before moving some or all of their activity to it, affected clients would have reason to check several points in their client area:
- Availability: whether the platform is open for the entity that holds their account.
- Instruments: which markets are actually accessible, and whether cryptocurrencies are included.
- Conditions: whether spreads, leverage and swaps match those on the broker's other platforms.
- History: whether order history can be exported or connected to third-party tools, a point that matters for keeping a trading journal and on which the release is silent.
The AI-generated signals would fall under analytical support rather than investment advice. How they are presented, and the risk warnings attached to them, would deserve close scrutiny before being used in any decision.
For prop firm traders, the announcement should change nothing: the published texts describe no funded account offering. As for FXCM clients, any change to their trading environment would depend on the group's strategy after the acquisition, which the announcements do not address.
