Discipline score

The discipline score measures the gap between what you wrote in your plan and what your statement shows: trading window respected, size inside the planned range, number of trades under your limit, stop present. It judges no result, only verifiable rules.

The formula

Score out of 100 for following YOUR rules: trading in your killzones, not sizing up after a loss (revenge), stopping after N losses in a row, holding your daily loss limit.

How to read it

The real differentiator: not whether you won, but whether you played well. Accounts blow up from indiscipline, not lack of setups.

Its value comes from comparing it to your performance. When the score drops on the days P&L collapses, you hold the cause and the remedy in the same line. When the two are uncorrelated, it is the plan itself that needs revisiting: it governs something other than what costs you.

The classic mistake

Writing rules vague enough to always be met. A permanent 100% discipline score measures nothing: it only says the plan commits to nothing verifiable.
